Planning a Campervan Road Trip Just Got Easier: Meet Campa Planner

Planning a proper campervan trip on a phone can be a pain.

You zoom in to inspect a location, zoom back out to understand the route, switch between screens to check different stops and somehow lose the place you were looking at five minutes ago. Phones are brilliant once you are travelling, but they are not always the best place to organise an entire road trip.

That is why we built Campa Planner, a new desktop experience designed to make planning your next campervan trip easier.

You can now open Campa on a bigger screen, explore locations, build a trip with multiple stops and save everything to your Campa account before you set off.

More room to plan properly

A good campervan trip is rarely just a journey from A to B.

You might want somewhere interesting to stop during the day, a reliable service point along the route, somewhere to eat and a suitable place to stay overnight. Trying to organise all of that on a small screen quickly becomes frustrating.

Campa Planner gives the map and your itinerary room to breathe. You can look across a wider area, compare potential stops and understand how the whole trip fits together without constantly jumping between different apps.

Build a campervan road trip around places worth visiting

Campa Planner connects trip planning with the locations already available through Campa.

Instead of starting with an empty map, you can explore places collected for campervan and motorhome travellers, choose the stops that suit your journey and bring them together into one plan.

With the Planner, you can:

  • Explore Campa locations on a larger desktop map
  • Search for places and potential stops
  • Build a trip with multiple destinations
  • Organise the stops in the order that works for you
  • Save the trip to your Campa account
  • Return to your plans when it is time to travel

The aim is simple: less time fighting with tabs, screenshots and disconnected maps, and more time building a trip you are genuinely looking forward to.

Plan at home, take Campa on the road

Desktop planning is only useful if the trip is still there when you leave the house.

Sign in with your Campa account and your plans remain connected to Campa. That means you can do the detailed planning on your computer, then return to the trip when you are ready to travel.

This is an important part of where Campa is heading. We want the entire journey to feel connected:

  1. Discover somewhere worth visiting.
  2. Explore useful locations nearby.
  3. Build and save the trip.
  4. Take Campa with you when you set off.

Campa Planner brings those first three steps together in a much more useful way.

Built for real campervan travel

Campa was created because planning campervan trips is still far more fragmented than it should be.

Interesting places are saved in one app, overnight stops are kept somewhere else, routes are built in another tool and useful recommendations disappear into screenshots or social media bookmarks.

We do not think travellers should need five different services just to organise a weekend away.

The Planner is another step towards making Campa the place where campervan owners can discover, plan and eventually navigate their journeys using tools built around how they actually travel.

It is not meant to plan the trip for you. The best road trips are personal. Campa simply gives you a better map, useful places and the tools to bring your own journey together.

Start planning your next trip

Campa Planner is live now and works best on a desktop or laptop.

Whether you are organising a weekend escape, joining together several saved locations or mapping out a longer campervan road trip, you can start building it today.

Open Campa Planner and start planning

Once you have tried it, let us know what works, what does not and what would make it more useful. Campa is built for people who actually travel this way, and that feedback directly shapes what we improve next.

See you on the road.
